Articulation agreements can help you transfer credits and earn a certificate or degree more quickly and affordably. We are proud to have articulation agreements with Utah high schools, Davis Technical College, Weber State University, Utah State University, and Snow College.

OTECH Credits Can Transfer with You

Articulation agreements between OTECH and other colleges make it easier to transfer credits between schools, helping you save money and finish a degree faster. To get credit, students need to send an official transcript to the new school. You will need to meet the rules and requirements of the institution you are applying to.

Credit Transfers

Your certificate from OTECH counts! You can transfer up to 30 credits to the following schools toward an Associate of Science (AS) Degree.

Snow College

If you complete an OTECH certificate, you can transfer up to 30 credits toward an Associate of Science degree at Snow College. This degree can then be used to transfer to any public university in Utah. Learn more at Snow College TechConnect.

Weber State University

If you complete an OTECH certificate, you can use up to 30 elective credits toward an Associate of Science in General Studies degree or any other undergraduate degree at Weber State. Learn more at WSU Tech Transfer.

Sending Transcripts to Ogden-Weber Technical College

Students wanting consideration for transfer credit must submit an official transcript from an accredited institution providing evidence to substantiate the course competency.

Letter grades are not issued for transfer credit.  See Grading System page for additional details.

How to request credit consideration:

1. Submit an official transcript to the Student Records office. Official transcripts can be sent electronically from an accredited institution to records@otech.edu or by mail in a sealed envelope. Additionally, students may deliver transcripts to the Student Records office if the transcripts are in their sealed envelope.
